Are we seriously never going to get to meet her or get any of Chuck’s back story? Does he even know his grandparents? How does he feel about the fact that they are (or were, since hopefully Bart sent/sends them money) clearly middle class or lower? Please please please give us Chuck flashbacks. Thank you “the bridegroom is a widower” poor chuck. :[ serena is so ass So omg. I love the show. Nd I think the guy that just came out of the closet is hot. I’m not rich but my mom came from a rich family until they disowned her for marying someone poor. I love the cast. But I know they r all nicer in person. awesomeeeee :] ‘”..And I can’y wait to spend the res of my life with Bart.” lol! ugh. lily, you are crazy. you shouldn’t have listened to your daughter, because now her and her ‘forever’ boyfriend, dan, are over. so it all would’ve been okay if you were with rufus. OMG! Chuck’s mom is dead? That’s definately something I want to see explored in the show…or, least some sort of explanation. I can’t wait for the next season! Chuck’s mom died? That’s really sad. I wonder if that’s why he’s so messed up. That’s probably why he’s so into this new family — he’s lonely. =( We definitely need more back-story there. We know next to nothing about Chuck’s life, or Serena’s for that matter (i.e. Where is her dad??) rufus sucks. Bart is awesome. I wonder if this means Chuck and Bart are going to talk about his mom’s death next season? Hope so! Poor Chuck! oh ive met chucks real mother, shes quite lovely and poised. until the cosmopolitans start being dished out. thats when you realize where chuck got his partying from. once i went to a lovely benefit at moma and she was there. so i nicely said hello in the beginning she was so nice but by the end after a few martinis she was wobbling all over “The bridegroom is a widower.” Well, now we know why no one ever mentions Chuck’s mom… FYI:Chuck only speaks to his grandparents when froced to at reunion parties-he hates it, but he knows its important to his dad… Looks like Lily’s 4th marriage is going to end in a divorce! Lily and Rufus are getting together in the second season!! Can’t wait..I love gossip girl coooooooool oh~poor lily~~ Well that’s an anticlimax… Poor Chuck, to have his mum die offscreen. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the occasional flashback to the Bass’ in happier times! And, I’m sorry, but *three* marriages that ended in divorce?! Lily, I don’t mean to be rude but… with everything Rufus-shaped still up in the air, how do you think this one will end any differently?! It is a Crazy, yes, New York, it is a “mucho” crazy. Lily you belong with Rufus!!!! OMG i cannot believe Chuck’s mom DIED! Who? What? When? Where? Why? UES FOREVER, They should mention the bride’s 4th marriage will also end in a divorce! I’m ok with Bart and Lily together, but I definitely think Rufus deserves her. I mean, hello! Can’t everyone see that they’re so obviously in love with each other? As for Chuck… well, poor kid. And Chuck is so nice to Eric. But Lily would probably be happiest if she were with the one she really loved. I hope nothing more complicated happening surprises between S and D. According to the presenter at the debutante ball, Lily’s mother’s first name is Celia, not Cecilia, and Celia is also Serena’s middle name. Since CeCe was chairwoman of the event for a long time, they must surely know her name. Yes, Bart’s gonna die, poor chuck Something to say?
