Spotted: D at Bookhampton (what else is new?) in the Hamptons.  He was buying This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper.  J and E playing miniature golf with J’s dad.  Old rocker guy was beyond horrible at it.  E schooled them both.  N at the ACF Fiorentina vs. Sporting Clube de Portugal football game in Lisbon, Portugal.  He was rooting for ACF Fiorentina.   S at Voile Rouge in St. Tropez partying with Prince Harry.  We hear they became Facebook friends.  C talking to a redhead at The Living Room at The Standard.  BOOOOOOO is all I can say to that.  V hanging out downtown with some cute guy.  Seems like she’s over N and under someone new.  Shocking, I know.  MIA: B.  Where are you?  Come out and play for gossip’s sake!

Now what I’m about to write might make people very upset.  Please, if you’re reading this on your phone you should probably sit down.  Okay.  Ready?  Chuck and Blair have not been spotted together all summer.  Deep breaths.  Deep breaths.  B has been practically non-existent these past few months.  Every now and then I’ve heard she’s gone to J Sisters or seen a movie with Dorota, but other than that it’s been silence.  Chuck, on the other hand, has been spotted with random girls all around town.  So far no evidence of any physical contact…yet. I know how heartbreaking this is.  But let’s not give up hope (how uncharacteristically optimistic of me, right?).  Maybe Waldass is just playing mind games with us…

What happens in Fiji stays in Fiji.  So unfortunately I have no info on what went down there.  I know, WTF?  All I do know is Carter Baizen and Serena van der Woodsen spent a month together doing God knows what on those South Pacific islands (seriously, if you have any info PUHLEASE send it my way).  As for the rest of the summer, S has been all over Europe being fun party girl Serena.  Yes!  You can pick up Hello!, Gente, Voici and Bunte to read all about her European escapades.  S, didn’t your mother ever teach you?  Your body was not made for people to drink off.  More to come on all that…

Wanna hear something totally boring?  Vanessa Abrams and Nate Archibald went to Eastern Europe together and all they did was sightsee and eat lots of borscht.   L to the ame.   Word has it they hooked up one night (they must’ve been a super drunk).  However, nothing came of it and the former lovebirds are now definitely just friends.  Can’t say I’m surprised (insert mean rich boy poor girl joke here lol).  V came back to the city early.  Oh, V, back to Brooklyn to live your sad outer borough life.  Quel dommage.  Meanwhile, I’ve received a few reports about Nate sticking around and living it up in Europe.  I’ll keep you updated on his solo travels (but knowing Nate I’m sure he found a girl or two to make him feel not so lonely).  Oh to be young and an Archibald.

Jenny’s not the only Humphrey who has escaped Brooklyn this summer.  Her dad and brother have also fled the 718.  They’ve been shacked up with Jenny and Eric all summer long at the van der Woodsen’s mansion.  I know.  Humphreys in the Hamptons?  Talk about fishes out of water.  Sorry Rufus, I don’t think they make flannel bathing suit trunks nor are hemp necklaces waterproof.  Though it’s good to know some things really never do change.  Yes, Dan may be living the luxurious life but he’s still his same old nerd self: reading, writing, yawn, yawn, yawn.  He might be doing these activities by an Olympic size pool yet that doesn’t make it any less dorky. Sorry, D.  Once a geek always a geek.  Live with it.
